    Crankshaft seal

Today i had my car at my local mechanic getting the belts done. When i picked it up he told me that i had an oil leak and it was a rear crankshaft seal. No probs because the car is under network q warranty. Iv got it booked in for next monday.

But heres the problem, in Feb of this year i had the same problem and they told me that the crankshaft seal had been replaced, but why 6 months later does it need another seal? Also its only got 27k on the clock!

    Any info welcome.
This is vauxhall country...on a quiet night you can hear the fords rust!!!!!
