Decent Pads and Disks for 1.7DTI LS

    Hey!

I need some new pads and disks for my mota'

Disks are grooved (not in a good way) , pads are lopsided.

Looking for some decent disks and pads.

Could you point me in the right direction, cheers!

    Steve.

Id recommend a set from mintex, they are quiet reasonably priced and last a fair while.

4 stud mate, its hardly a quick car so don't need bigger really. Just want them to be half decent.

    Cheers!

the brakes on the 4studs are shit at the best of time

if u didnt wanna throw loads of cash at them,.,,, then standard discs, pads, caliper rebuild (or new calipers for £80 a pair), fresh fluid, braided hoses

    £150 and ur sorted

Well, heres the brand new calipers for your brakes

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Astra...QQcmdZViewItem

mate them up with a decent set of discs n pads, fresh fluid and ur away

discs from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-OPEL-...QQcmdZViewItem (drilled, grooved and combi all same price)

pads of your choice depending on budget

fresh fluid is the key here......also new hoses - braided if u can stretch to it - if not then fresh new rubber ones from vx

    HTH

wouldnt bother just buying discs n pads on their own (unless of course yours are seriously flucked) without replacing the other parts --- if u do however do the full lot, then they wont just be half decent - they will be top notch or as much as can be when retaining the disc size etc
