    Bosch Polisher

Turns out a family member has a pretty old but working Bosch rotary polisher sitting in their garage. Couldn't find a model number on it though, but it is certainly for car use.

Is this worth a try with some new pads and whatever the liquid stuff is called?

Try to find some info about it mate as if the speed range is too high then it could be game over

if the speed is adjustable then it looks ok, as it says 750 / 3000. dunno if thats 750 or 3000 but could be 750 to 3000

will probably be 750 through to 3000. Perfect speed range there Chris, but don't go over 1500rpm when cutting or you'll cause marring. Buy yourself a backing plate and some pads for it, get some 3m FC+ and get de-swirling

The 'owner' of the polisher has a load of pads etc, probably worth checking what they are though - probably a job for later into 2009 anyhow, this weather is not suited to this type of job...that and baby should turn up in the next 2 weeks so I'll not get much chance anyhow!
