    Dial Faces

Bit unsure about this one as I can be quite heavy handed. To change the dial faces do I just need to take the needles out?

How do I get the needles off?

    Thanks

    Mike

Get some card, cut a slit in it, put the slit between the needle and the fascia (dials). Put a fork between the card and the needle and push the fork handle down, the needle 'should' pop off.

Putting it back in the right place is the key though. Before you take the dials out of the car note (or photograph) the zero position they sit at when the ignition is off. Before you put the plastic cover back on the dials put them back in the car without the needles on. Start the engine, then turn the ignition off again, this puts the dial motors back to 'zero'. gently place the needles back on then start the ignition again and turn it off again. If the needles sit in the correct 'zero' position then push them back on fully, otherwise adjust until correct. When you are happy with the position push them back on fully, remove the dials, put the cover back on and then refit.

Cheers mate, just what I needed!.

Just had a thought though, if I put white dials in, my needles will light up blue aswell, will this not make the needles hard to see or has anyone else set up like this

Just looking at the pictures of the dials I was looking at:
    http://www.espdesign.co.uk/p309250/L...duct_info.html

The rev counter is different, mine goes up to 6 and 3 is at '12 oclock' on the dial, on these shown they go up to 7

Can I get the same as mine in white?

There are quite a few different configurations available, make sure you get the right one.

For instance mine is a 7000RPM 140Mph gauge but an SRi is 160mph, just make sure you dont buy the wrong one or the needles arent going to match up.
