    Recommend me a New Headunit

As above i'm looking for a new head unit for under £100

New Or Used doesnt matter, Something good that you've had or that you know is a really good headunit.

Not running any other equipment yet just the standard system

At the Min I like these

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JVC-KD-LHX552-...d=p3286.c0.m14

But can find them for cheap enough.

    So what you got ??

No offence but that's rubbish. I'm very impressed with my Kenwood 6537U for under £100. 4x50w (mine is amp'd now but anyhow), 24bit Wolfson DAC, mp3/wma etc, USB compatible too so stick all your songs on a USB pen and away you go, no more swapping CD or skipping CD's. You can pick up massive USB pens for next to nothing nowadays, my 2GB one holds 15-20 albums at 192kbps bit rate.

Halfords are pretty expensive for head units, try online, if you can stretch then I really like the look of the new Kenwood units, the W6541U is a nice looking unit with a 3-line display, you can likely find it cheaper elswhere but:

IMHO nothing under £100 is worth the money.
I am a Fan of Alpine but with my older Alpine hu outlasting my current CDA-9847 by at least 3 years (the 9847 is suffering display issues) I starting to doubt the quality of modern electronics which server to enforce my beliefs.

I got myself one of these a while back, solely for the bluetooth option. Aside from the option of making and receiving calls you can also stream music from your phone. Very pleased for the money I paid.

Also need to think about whether the headunit suits your dash, nothing worse than one that looks outta place.
