My vectra gsi has left the roost

Sold my vectra gsi on saturday. Didnt really want to get rid as it was a nice car but drank like a hobo on meths and was to good to take to use as a daily driver just a waste.

Got another vectra though. a lowley 1.8 ls £300 12 months mot and some tax. does the job though, but the gsi and poverty spec are two different cars totally so far apart. I can see why sten thinks the the poverty spec vectras are shit. they are awful but its great as a old hack and safe enough.

Indeed, I don't lie The GSi's are great cars but like you say, the LS is fine as a runabout. Easy to fix/cheap parts etc.
