Anyone had a celox performance chip!

    Hi all,

just been looking in max power and i have seen advertised these celox performance chips which proclaim to increase 15bhp by tricking computer of the car.Had anyone ever had one as they are a seriously cheap mod...if it works or maybe its just another con!

Anyone got any feedback please before i waste my money buying one to try it out.

    Cheers!

Biggest rip-off ever, masses of money for what is basically a cheapy cheapy resistor.

Some say they work, some don't, all they do is make your car think the air is colder than it is so it adds more fuel.

i can't see how they can do any good whatsoever to the engine or ECU personally, but i could be wrong. just seems pretty dodgy to me.

Dont go near one of those Celox modules - could end up spiking the ecu or worse.

50p resistor from Maplins would do same job.

Instruction leaflet that comes with it also gives a disclaimer from Celox saying they accept no responsibility for any damage that occurs to the car as a result of installing their 'performance' product - fills you full of confidence, doesn't it?

Try and return it and they will not accept it back, customer service is non-existant.
