Chemical Guy's Pete's 53 is awesome on black and won't break the budget at all.

    Can be bought here; http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/ch.../prod_337.html

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

I'm very impressed with the gloss from EGP on my sapphire black MK4, never tried a wax yet myself, but Pete's as linked above is on my 'likely' list, gets very good comments and is well priced in comparison with other products which tend to edge over £30 per tub.

the EGP will add a bit of gloss, but compared to the gloss Pete's will give it's nothing. Also, pete's will give more prtection than EGP.

For only £20 a tub, Pete's is probably the best value for money wax on the market

No mate, They're a supporting trader and I've been a customer with them for ages. I know how good the service is.

If you have EGP give it a go, but put it on as thinly as possible otherwise it's a bugger to buff off.

If Pete's 53 gives a better finish than EGP I may have to stretch the budget this month to try it!
