    Warning lights issue

    Hi,
Just a question to see if this is a easy fix or not.I have a 1999 Astra 8v 1.6 LS,it has no problems running at all.The problem is with the dash lights namely a couple of the warning ones, they do not light up when the ignition is turned at all.The two are the engine management and the other one with the car/spanner.As I said before the car runs a treat so I suspect the bulbs behind the clocks are blown how easy is it to access the instrument cluster once its removed from the dash and what type of bulbs are they.
    thanks in advance Andy

    Hi Andy.
Have you tried looking in the FAQ area? I'm sure this is covered somewhere, in a few threads, but cannot recall.

I resorted to purchasing a Haynes Manual as a back-up, as I intended replacing the filament lamps with LEDs (cos they look cool, and last much longer).

For a beginner it is not simple, but can (and does) get done.

Removal of the steering wheel is recommended in the manual. And be very careful with it, because if the Airbag goes off whilst you're doing it, you could get badly injured.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.
