    Spraying front Grill

Right I have the spray paint now and also the grill.

I have done plastic spraying before so I kinda know what I'm doing, but just have one question.

The grill comes in like a grey primer from Vauxhall as standard, do i still need to primer it with like halfords primer spray or am i ok to just spray the paint on straight away?

Will i need to lightly key the standard primer or can i just spray the paint straight away?

    Cheers guys.

Personally, I would use primer regardless of how it comes. I'd hate to spend all that time working on it only to find the paint starts eggshelling or bubbling because I didn't prime it. I'd also key it, too

Erm think i will give it two layers of primer then, but wont bother with the filler primer.

plastic primer, and sinse its going on the outside a minimum of 3 coats, and mind don't go too heavy on the coats of primer

if anything really thin coats and do about 4 or 5.

time consuming but time well spent imo.
