    Fitting Hella Afterburners

    just bought some Hella Afterburner rear lights, but does anyone know how to fit them, not good with wiring unless i have a how to guide, if anyone can point me in the right direction or tell me how, i would be grateful

    for the MK4 cheers.

    for people who dont know whatthe wiring looks like on one of them, could you take a photo of them so we could have a look.

    I fitted some to a mates MGF, they have a common earth once you have got that use a multimeter to see what wire ( from the car loom) is getting power, when whatever is being used.
    IE turn ign on and put it in reverse see which one from the car is live, then put that to the reverse light on the hellas.
    then do the rest the same idea.

    2 year ago i fitted these to my mk4 as far as i can remember the wiring is a straight plug and play into the cars plug and then plenty of insluation tape to hold together lol!

    here are some photos of wiring, 2 brown are joined together, any ideas, i dont have a multimeter?

    Like i thought all browns together put that to earth on your car.

    Now what ever you select ie reverse, sidelights, indicator, will only be live so touch it to one of the spare wires of the light, BUT NOT THE BROWN ONE.
    Just a process of elimination.
