    FMIC woosh/boost issues

Ive just fitted a universal IC to my car and it seems like theres a massive woosh sound when the turbo kicks in. It seems like the car isnt pulling right either and a hint of chatter. Im thinking theres an airleak along the pipes somewhere so ill be checking that tomorrow but is there anything else i could check apart from the pipes?

It does have a Bailey DV which is still working as its suppost to so ill check the pipe on that too

Has anyone else had any problems when they fitted theres?

Or is this a normal sound after fitting an FMIC?

    Cheers

might be the boost solenoid on it's way out.

But before you panic check for air leaks

    Sounds like a boost leak.

checked all pipework tonight and doubled up on hose clips to make sure. car seems to pull better now but still has a bit of a woosh to it but is that because of the bigger intercooler?
