Aye it dead easy mate, mite be easier to take the glove box out tho so you can get the wires around easier...
If you need a hand and im up your way ill help out
It is really easy a bit of advice to make it easier on you keep the top slot open so you can put the wires through CAREFULLY while slidding the headunit in the bottom slot
is there more room behind the bottom slot than the top? and is it easyer to place a HU in the bottom one than the top?

There is more room behind the bottom slot and if you did a straight switch you would find that your "cubby hole" doesn't click into place. However, with a bit of patience it can be done properly and fits perfectly.
What is needed is to remove your CD player and the cubby hole and put them to one side. Secondly remove your glove box with six torx screws T-20 IIRC
Then if you look in the top slot where the original caged CD player was there is a small plastic box-like thing screwed in with another two torx screws on either side. Remove these and slide the plastic thing out to the side where the glovebox was.
Fit the CD player in the bottom slot and the cubby hole should now click into place at the top (possibly needs encouragement )
