    has anyone tried this stuff

    Hi Guys

    http://www.jmldirect.com/currency/GBP/GS27-PG8869/

Thinking about going and getting some of this, just wondered if anyone has tried this and if so is it good and more importantly does it work? other general opinions welcome such as is it easy to use, does it take long, best methods?

    cheers

What a load of **** if you have alot of swirls or light scratches on your car just save up and pay to have it machined polished for a really good finish. If you can get your nail in the scratch it needs repainting

It's a very aggressive compound, which it needs to be as it's used by hand. It therefore makes it very difficult to know how much of the clearcoat it's taking off. A much safer method is with a machine and a cutting compound such as menzerna PO85RD3.02. You normally take around 2-4 microns off the clearkote, depending on how severe the swirling is. I did mine last week and took about 2 microns off of the paint on the VXR, leaving it nice and swirl free

Well i have just tried the GS27 Scratch remover and it seems to work fine be advised i only have a few minor scratches on my spoiler and the back side of my car i only tried it out on the spoiler and it did lessen the the look of the scratch and in some cases take them away all together...

Not bad if you ask me but i don't think it would do anything for deeper scratches..
