As many of you will have read before on here, my emissions light keeps coming on on my 04 1.8 coupe.
To cut a long story short, it came on a month after i got her last September, took it back and the dealer fitted a new lamda sensor. Light stayed off for a few weeks. Early January it came on again.
Serviced for its MOT, new lamda sensor fitted again in February.
Light came on 2 days later.
Was advised to change ECU, so i did, in June.
Light came on again a few weeks later.
Was taken in again last month, another lamda sensor changed.
Light came on again last night, took it in again today, guy says it has him stumped, he has went over everything and cant do anything more.
He says it could be faulty wiring, he wont touch it and recommended a guy that would. He quoted me around £300 and cant guarantee it will solve the issue.
Im now at my wits end. Ive had enough. Ive spent close to £1000 on the car in repairs in one year. I wouldnt mind, only its still not fixed.
What about taking it to a Vauxhall dealership? I know ill pay for it, but if i thought they could fix it i would.
Can anyone else think of anything else that this could be or has anyone had a similar issue?
