    need help badly

    engine managment light came on the other week so i had my car diagnosed n it sed p0420 which they sed is lambda sensor.i had it replaced n cleared but car is still runnin lean n kangeruing all over place n struggling to tick over??all this has happened since i got back from courtenays .i think its the map??any ideas plz?

    What lambda sensor did they change?

    They did know there was 2 of them didnt they?

    you should not be posting on here, if you have had work done call the tuner and ask their advice they after all just did the work on it. Anyone on here can only make a guess

    mine would be that you have an air leak post amm

    been on phone 2courtenay n they sed probly lambda sensor bank 1 which is the pre cat isnt it?i dunno wot 2do wiv it now

    yeh but they wont charge will they coz it seems like they've ****ed it up in the first place

    they fitted a map? correct?

    so if your car had a problem but wasnt noticable on a standard map then it may show up on a more powerfull map?

    now im not a car mechanic or a tunner so i canna say that they ****ed or didnt **** ur car but i would suggest trying to resolve it before publicly statin they have broke your car..

    just my opinion tho m8.

    in saying that.. hope you get it sorted... for what its worth try changing your spark plugs ( or cleaning them ) and poss looking at the 2 sensors.

    k mate il try.it didnt hav a problem b4 on standard map.i think it needs remapping by courtenays again
