    An idea i've had...

right, one of my alloys is cracked, so the alloys will have to come off and the steelies go back on for a bit until i can get something sorted, but i've had an idea,

i think i'l put my steelies back on and spray the hub caps gloss black in the meantime, opinions?

heres the car with the hub caps in question:

car is now lowered to it shouldnt look too bad

personally dont like it, will just look like black hub caps (which i know is what it is)

but if you need to put them on until you get some alloys sorted then just do it, i just wouldnt plan on it looking good...

    imo of course,

if its just in the "meantime" then why the hell go to all that trouble of painting some daft plastic trims when youll be putting ur alloys back on...

unless of course u planning on running the motor on steelies for good?

Either way.....sorry to say in my usual honest way.... (and IMO - better get that disclaimer outta the way) .......... I think they will look gash!

Dont waste ur time n money on painting them

IMO If it's a look you like and would keep reguardless of alloys then fine, but if not, it will appear that you do like them and think they look good and intentionally had them that way therefore making you look mad.

That prob makes little sense typed out but did in my head, feel free to decipher!

lol wow had to read that a couple of times to get my head round it tamsin, but yes they where on the car before the alloys.

one of the alloys is cracked on the inner edge of the rim, so i'm riding around with 3 17" alloys and a 15" steel wheel at the mo since yesterday, but hopefully i'l find out if the wheel can be fixed tomorow,
