    Changing the sound of my sub

    i have this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BNIB-SJ-AUDIO-...1.c0.m14.l1318 but the double version and i was wondering if i took the subs out n mounted them in my own box like this http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?im...%3Den%26sa%3DX would it effect the sound?

    just got ripspeed headunit want my passengers to watch dvds on the go with out conectin to handbrake any way of fooling it into think the handbrake is always on

    Not sure why that was posted here.... but all u gotta do is attached the Handbreak earth to next tp anything metal on your car! just give that wire a perminant earth!

    Box shape can make all the difference, i wouldn't recommend buying a box that is already ported as you don't know if the port is the right size to work with your subs. Personally for a crisp bass note i prefer a sealed box, but certainly if you are after low and loud a ported and even bandpass'ed box would be more efficient.
