    LEd problem

Heya have just fitted some LED's into the map reading light, the back door lights and the boot light.
Problem i have is that all seem fine and they all work but when i get in car shut the door the 2 ones for the back doors go out but the map reading one stays on but is dimmed.
Swapped it over with one in boot as they same size but same thing happens on the map lamp. Even stays on when start the engine. but if i get out and lock the car it will go out completly with the rest of the lights.

    Anyone got any ideas

got no ideas why but the same happened to me. think its supposed to be like that to be honest as the main light usualy dims when the door is opened or closed but as its an led light it may still have a current going through it.

i got bored of mine so changed it back to the original, hope this helps

May want to ask OddJob this one, I think there is always current going through the bulb circuit which is not enough to light a normal bulb but is enough to light LED's. May be a resistor is needed or something?
