    No Overboost

I've just re fitted my dbilas manifold and Hybrid turbo, it's holding 18PSI perfectly but I'm getting no over boost what so ever!

Any ideas what the problem could be?

I'm tempted to tighten up the actuator but I think this will just squeeze another 1 or 2 psi but not give me any over boost........am I right or should I give it a few more turns?

Oh and I'm running Regal Phase 3.5

18 PSI is about right for the phase 3.5 map. I don't any more on the standard internals.

However I know trhat Phase 3.5 is supposed to overboost to around 22psi but mne doesn't..........

I'll give that a go now! (Should have thought of it really!)

    Sorry no pics.
It's a pig of a job as it's quite a bit bigger than the standard!
I took the old turbo off with the bumper on but then had to take the bumper off and remove the intercooler to move the rad enough to get the dblias manifold in place!

Also the exhaust has to be repositioned and the oil feed and return pipes are a pig (A bigger pig than doing them on a standard turbo).

    EDIT:
Danny, You also can't use the standard vauxhall nuts to put the manifold on. Regal replace all of the lower nuts with thinner ones to make it easier.
I didn't do that, I used them all but one of them I had to cut 10mm off as full size it won't actually fit in place.

You might be alright with that one!
It looks like the oil return has been shorterned! If not then it's getting the other end to fit thats as B***h! (After you've primed the turbo )

Trim down 1, then you'll just have to be inventive in how you get to them to tighten them up!
