    Central Locking

Sorry if this has been answered, how do I make the central locking lock all the doors after I move off? I have a "lock" button on the dash but would prefer this to be automatic when the good lady has the car for example!

    Welcome mate

I believe it's something that can be programed via tech2 but I know some options have been removed

as autosparks said it needs to really be tech2'd.

if its one of the 1st shape astra H's (54 plate) then sometimes if u press the lock button for so many seconds it activates it. does tell u how in the manual.

ull need to find a dealer that hasnt updated their tech2 system to activate it tho as was removed for some reason.

alternatively put an alarm on that has the function of anti hi-jack, failing that just press the button when she wants it locked

On my MK5 Design, I just hold down the lock button on the dash for about 4 secs and this sets it to automatically lock all doors after your car starts moving.

    Hope this helps
