Well yestersday a few things arrived.
Chemical guys detailing spray
Chemical guys Jetseal 109
Micro Firbre Sponges
And large professional clay bar.
So I got down to work
First a wash with my new schmitt then I washed and dried down the car.
Then came time to give the car a good claying.Frst time i've done this and I have to say I was amazed how quicly it got rid of bugs, tar and the usual crap on the car. Plenty of detailing spray and a lot of elbow grease, but well worth it.
Then came the Jetseal. Now I've been told this stuff is like rain x or aqualpel for paint and also gives the car a nice deep wet look. It can be also used on chrome (as you can see) and plastics.
I applied using microfibe sponges, and followed the instructions by putting a thin coat on, leaving 20 mins and buff off. Then repeat.
The paint felt really smooth like glass after I was finished. I'm so happy with the results and pics are below, took me 3-4 hrs. It was getting dark and taken off camera phone so aplologises if not very good quality.
