    Emission failure?

High guys just had my M.O.T, and it failed!!!!!!!

    these are the notes:

    1. Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content at idle excessive

    2. Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive

    3. Exhaust emissions lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limit

Any reasons wy this is, the stinks of fuel!!!!

also just recently changed map sensor.

no-one has mentioned CO2 here, only CO.

If it is stinking of fuel, it sounds like you say then get a fuel pressure gauge check done on the supply and return lines. Return should ve zero pressure and supply as per manufacturers settings. If they are out then investigate and repair. Your cat may also be damaged from the over fuelling, take it off and look at the honeycomb. If it is loose or melted it is knackered
