    Autoglym

Hi, I am looking to give my car a good seeing to this coming weekend and need to stock up on some cleaning products. I would usually buy autoglymn products (car shampoo, polish, wax, window cleaner) but have heard that this stuff is overrated?

Any thoughts? and what you may recommend

Some of the Autoglym stuff is very good. IIWY, I'd buy one of their valet cases (about £50), but bin the sponge and buy a lambswool washmitt. Then buy some of their High Definition wax.

    Ideal for the AG fan

Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring

    Thanks for that mate.

Was thinking of turning to Meguiars, heard alot of good things about them. But will stay loyal to autoglym,... for now anyway

Megs do have some good bits, but for the stuff you can get in halfords (3 for 2 on all cleaning products at the moment), then AG is superior

    Great stuff mate.

Quick question regards wheel/alloy cleaning. I got some of the poorboys paste (its like in a tub and its pink ) in work atm so cant confirm exact make of the stuff, but is this ok to use on any alloy?

    Cheers

The clue is in the name of the product, 'wheel', so yep, alloys are fine

PBW Wheel sealant is very good mate. Build up the layers every 15 minutes until you've got about 5 or 6 coats on, then it'll really repel the brake dust and be very very easy to clean
