    Any MOT testers on hear ??

    do we have a MOT tester on AOC ??
    one of the people on hear have a prob with a car

    hey danny i'm a tester.
    most common cause of an imbalance is siezied pads or piston.
    ask the tester which side was doing the least braking.
    if its the offside then the problem is usually at the nearside and vice versa
    no comment

    think the best wayto sort it in buy new calipers and pads to be on the safe side.

    it wont need new calipers at 43000miles. i'd change the pads first and discs if they look like they need done.

    it may do. depends on how well its looked after. my old civic type r needed caliper sorting at 22k, (which it was on when i bought the car).

    and i have a j reg mini with 38k and it deffo needs new calipers!!!!!

    Could be few things, seized piston, pads corroded and seized in the carrier, sticky sliders or possibly collapsed brake hose ( not allowing fluid through/to return after brakes applied ) suprised it's listed as Dangerous though, bit keen there me thinks.
    As long as the testers not put it down wrong and means front brakes fluctuating ( as in warped discs ) , i would take ot for a drive first as it wouldn't be the first time, you should see the options the MOT computer system gives you, sometimes the tester puts down the nearest thing to what he means
