    wots the cheapest place to insure astras?

    iv got 1.8 sri now and insurance is 1500 a year under mi dad and we got 1 year no claim on my policy but im after getting a 1.9 diesel but the insurance bumps up to bowt 2 grand do yas no any good sites where i could get cheaper insurance....cheerz

    i've moved this to the insurance forum for you...

    insurance prices vary massively on age/location/car/history etc etc so there are no good companies for an astra,

    best just trying as many as poss, and call people not just use the internet and dont rely too much on confused.com or similar as can be better of going direct,

    can be good ones to try, but as said try as many as possible its the only way to know for sure you get the best deal,

    id say more than, i tried bell - 1900, elephant 1700, they were both 3rd party fire and theft

    i tried more than, and i got it for 1070 fullly comp =)

    Try www.moneysupermarket.com mate,they will search all the insurance companys.I always use it and its always the cheapes

    im with elephant, fully comp, mods declared with points and younger sister on the policy with a 1.8 SXi and im 1800 a year,

    best bet is to shop around

    i must say tho, what ever qoute u get, allways ring the company, every time i rung up, they got me a cheaper quote then what it said on the internet

    im 20 with 5 points and its 900 a year with elaphant but only coz my sis is a second driver it lowered it by 300 pound and shes only bin driving 6 months longer lol
