    Adjusting Actuator.

    Hey,

My mate wanted to adjust my actuator today on my gsi manifold a little, said it would give the car more boost, maybe a few psi. I didnt let him adjust it however, is this true?

What would be the benifits from this, obviously upping boost anything otherwise?
Would it put more stress on the turbo its self causing it to possibly fail?

My turbo is standard z20 turbo with 45k on it.

on the Z20LET the boost is controled with ECU & boost control solenoids so adjusting the actuator will not have any effect as the control solenoids will only allow it to run what the ECU Map is set to, All that would happen is for it to possibley cause the turbo to over rev causing premature wear and even if it did manage over boost past the ECU's control it would just bring the EML light on
