    hi,

looking at getting a 2001 2.2 bertone coupe but the steering wheel and gear knob in the car i'm interested in have rather tacky wood look bits to them. just wanted to know how easy it would be to change these. thanks

    Hi cwhollyoake,

good choice, 2.2i Coupe. Have got mine for little over a year now and still love the car!

About your question, I'd say it depends on the steering wheel and the knob they've installed in this car. The original steering wheel with airbag can be removed, but with caution. The original gearknob is easier, but takes some effort as well. You can find 'How to's' here:

If they aren't original ones, perhaps you might best post some pics to show what's installed in that car? Maybe they're even easier to change... but maybe not...

    Ta
