URGENT help: Brakes - Updated! :(

Thought I'd save this afternoon for replacing the discs and pads.. something came up but still had hours to spare ...

Printed Jam's rough guide, got a haynes manual and now my arms are getting covered in sh*t. Put the car on axle stands, Removed the wheels, then removed one bolt as said but cant get my bloody calipers off!

Here's some pics... though my calipers arent Lucas, so they don't look like Jam's one in the rough guide.

I've taken loads of disc's off before no problems..I can see two rubber things top and bottom of the caliper, which look like there could be bolts behind but I dont want brake fluid spurting out so I've left them so far.

Don't usually have any problems, maybe its just one of those days!

It had to happen on a friday night as well

wrong bolt - that's the strut pince bolt... put it back

on the back of the caliper there are two rubber pegs sticking out - remove the plugs in the top of those and then you'll find two 7mm allen bolts - remove those to get the caliper off

The bolts that are too close to the CV??? I cant get anything in there!

Is there a huge difference from the Lucas setup to the Delhpi Ones I have?

Did you take off the 2 round plastic covers on the 'rubber pegs' ?

Under there are the 2 bolts

Sounds like you're looking at the bolts for the backing plates

the calipers are held on by 2 7mm allen bolts (under the plastic covers)
the caliper carriers are held on by two big bolts (torx iirc), which are well clear of the CV joint

Yeah I got the calipers off OK, but now trying to get off the mounting bracket???? And there's only two odd shaped bolts behind the disc. They are Horizontal to each other....? But on the bottom, they are extremely close to the CV, havent been able to get anything even close to them
