    lacquering

    hey guys will hopefully be doin sum paintin soon i know about priming and painting its lacquering that i have problems with. how long does it need to dry cause last time i did it i managed to get finger prints all over it.

    Patience dear Dan, drying in air will take longer anyway.

    If you want to 100% sure it's dry, leave it 24 hours.

    LOL! yeah thats the thing i left it for 3 days last time and thats when it happened. so normally 24 hrs shud be enough

    If after three days it's not dry, something isn't right.

    Where are you getting your paint/lacquer from?

    this was years ago when i was paintin my interior on my corsa. but from good old halfords. where wud U reccomened?
