    Which adapter

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking to get a JVC AVX-810 and was wondering what connectors i need,

The thing i'm confused about is, to use the steering wheel controls....

Do I need this + JVC lead

    And this?

Or just the first one on its own

Also, is this needed or is it included in the main adapter

Is the blue wire on this ariel adapter where I can plug in the AMP remote?

    So many wires! Confused!

    Welcome mate

Your close on what you need. The first link you need yes but rather than the second adaptor you need this http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/conn...5612ff8e9c97c8

Yes you need that aerial adaptor but sometimes it's in with the steering wheel control, maybe ask them first. The blue wire plugs into the new headunits remote out to power it up

    Ok Cool Cheers,

Can I link the Amp remote lead to this blue wire?

Also I've read alot about people not being able to get thier headunit to work without having the ignition on, but cant seem to find a difinitive answer, is there any way of having it come on when the key is turned to Accessories only? Dont have the smokers pack so no light going to the cigy lighter which I think people have mentioned to use??

Yep the amp remote out from your new headunit can go onto that blue wire plus any amp you may be fitting

If you click on the connects2 link you posted you see it says it gives out a switched live so your headunit should work on a accessory postion
