    No fuel!

This morning I got in the car... and it wouldnt start!!
Fuel light was flashing away and the needle hardly moved when I turned the key.

I know that i was low on fuel but I still had one bar left when I parked up last night!!
Assuming that someone hasn't pinched my fuel, I was thinking that the fact that my car is on a hill with the front higher than the back, and this has caused the fuel have settle too far back in the tank...

Is this possible?? This ever happen to anyone else, or do you think sinister forces are at work here!!??

1.check your tank has no holes in it.
2.get the car facing the other way and leave it for 30 mins then try starting.

If it does start after pointing it down the hill, get a fuel station quick!

never had my car not start but if the car is running low on fuel and i park on even a slight hill (front of car facing uphill) it takes a lot longer to start. So nothing to worry about mate looks like ur fuel level was just low. follow what sxt said above to make sure

my drive at home is a slope.
if i park my car with the front of the car at the top end and the bottom of the car at the bottom, if im very low on fuel (im talkign under 20miles on the trip comp) then it will struggle to start.

so i have to make sure i have petrol everytime i park on my drive.
I could get round it by reversing onto my drive, but my car is too low and catches! doh!

Thanks to a mate running me up to the garage, and 6 quid of gas... I now have a working car.

Lesson learnt : Dont park the car facing uphill when the fuel is low! lol
