    will it cause problems....

i have just fit the black shiny vxr dash trim to my cdti. i tried to fit the cd player, but it would not work! I have a standard cd player, but its silver and doesnt go well, Can I put an aftermarket cd player in or will only the origional cd player work in my car.
    Thanks James.

i dont know if im getting this or not but i will try anyway..

if you are asking why another sterio from another car wont work its because you need the radio code for it..

if you are asking if you can fit an aftermarket sterio with a cd player then yes you can.

if you wish to fit an aftermarket sterio but keep using your cars cd changer then you will need to find out if its compatable with the head unit.

TECH2 is a unit that vauxhall use to read and solve fault codes on your car.. there are handheld units that people confuse with tech2 units called OBD readers.. they are a cheap and effective version of the tech2.. and as far as i know it is nothing to do with what you want done... ( i hope )

    any o that help?
