    What does the red ti mean on cdti

    Hi I have a 2006 1.7 cdti (red ti), what differance is this to the normal badges? also could any one tell me how i find out if it is 80bhp or 100bhp? thanks.

    it's the 100PS one mate, which is what the red Ti means. On the 1.7 the 80PS one has an all silver CDTi, while the 100PS one has a red Ti. On the 1.9's the 120PS one has an all silver CDTi, and the 150PS one has a red Ti.

    check your engine code as its not always true, dtl is 80 and dth is 100
