    Newbie alert!!!

Just to say Hi to all out there, just joined. I bought a 2002 convertible turbo Tuesday, already done:
    Derestricted airbox
    K and N panel filter
    Improved air intake
    Bailey Dump Valve
Full turbo back Milltek exhaust inc precat and sports cat
    Green stuff front pads
    Drilled and grooved front discs
Old stereo and cd changer out and ice install started, will take a while to finish though

So guys, can anyone suggest a decent remap, heard bad things of courtenay so any suggestions would be appreciated, oh and I'm only running it on VPower petrol

Would you suggest resetting the ecu? Is this doen by disconnection battery for a while??

Hi welcome you will find over time Vpower and the others like it will kill you o2 sensor due to the stuff they put in do a search for 14:1 and you will see, to be honest I've heard bad things about all of them to be honest, and lots of good things I've heard more good than bad to be honest the leaders at the Mo are Courtenay Sport, Regal and Thorney Motor Sport that's in no particular order, Disconnecting the battery for half an hour to an hour will force the ECU to rest, then start it and let it idle for 10mins and then give it some beans and then the ECU will start to adjust with in is parameters to your driving style and the stuff already fitted

Thanks for info, kinda hesitant in spending money on a remap that wont give the gains it states, thanks for the heads up on the fuel, is this because it runs hotter, or just because of the higher ocyane??
