    Help! My Spoiler's Sagging :(

I've got a genuine Irmy spoiler on mine and it seems to have sagged !!!

It was fitted before I got the car but I've only noticed that it seems to be lower than every one else's as I've been driving and seeing other peoples.
Its only about 5-6mm off the top of the wiper stand now

Any idea's on how to give it a little lift???

My copy one sagged so much it laid on the rear wiper, and when i had to use it, the spoiler would go up and down in the center.

All i could think is if you close the boot putting pressure on the center of the spoiler when you close it. Continued use of this will no doubt make it sag and weaken in the middle But maybe im wrong

Best way is to move the mounting holes inwards so you can get some compression in the spoiler and get it to bow upwards.

As you car wouldn't have had that spoiler fitted as standard, I can only assume that whoever fitted it, drilled the holes too far apart

Just get a small round file and ovalise the holes. When is right slap some grip washers under the bolt head to stop it moving back.

don't forget to slap some paint on any bare metal too

Sounds like a plan Cheers dude
n00b question what are grip washers? quick google just shows generic washers

The holes for the wing are bloody massive way bigger than the pegs

yer that will be why its saggin, i assume your spoiler has two squares on the drivers side with no writting in the box? If so thats the one i had on mine, some cheap ass copy of the real deal.

You got me worried, was thinking mine will soon start sagging again.

That's the one GM019 I think or something like that lol. ****ing hell!
And with the mounting hole's being so big I doubt im gonna get a normal one to fit. Looks like Mr Ffoeg plan is the way forward.
