    traction control

    I want to know when people use it,I only ever use it when its raining,hailing etc etc but i know people who leave it on all the time? Something i thought would waste fuel?

    it wont waste fuel, it only does anything when the wheels slip

    It will save fuel if anything as fuel wont be wasted spinning the wheels.

    It doesn't use any extra fuel. Maybe your thinking of AC?

    I would have it turned off all the time, but ho hum, Vauxhall couldn't afford to fit a switch in my car so i'm stuck with it perminantly engaged.

    As above... it's only active when it detects the wheels slipping, unless you switch it off every time you start the car up.

    Mines auto off when i start the car,If i want it on i turn it on but i think i will leave it on from now on

    Mk4's are automatically on when you start the car. The switch turns it off (and lights the dash light to warn you it's off)

    Mines on all the while but i only normaly turn it off when im bored and fancy a play - Its a killer on the traffic light launches lol
