    Car Alarm

    Hey, i was just wondering if anyone has any advice
    Im a bit paranoid about my car so i want to know if anyone has any advice on a basic car alarm system £150-£200 if possible any makes people prefer etc, dont really want any of this proximity noncence, my mates car has it and it seems to me like it woulf draw attention more then anything!

    I don't like punting my own work on this site but for £200 I could fit a cat 1 upgrade alarm that either links to the factory remotes or has it's own remotes. I use Sigma alarms

    To give you other options Cobra and Toad alarms are also very good but it's all down to the person fitting it. Alarms don't have to have proximity sensors so maybe ask your mate where he had it done and see if he would recomend them?

    I was under the impresson you had to have them professionally installed for the certificate etc

    Im pretty clueless on this subject
