Thumbs Down Not good news I`m afraid

When the jack collapsed it put the steering out. It`s now at 1 o`clock instead of 12, and the steering wheel shakes, as if the wheels need balancing.

    The nearside strut was knackered,.
After Wortec mapped the car, at 150mph, there was no oil left. It went back to Gaz last thursday, for a new insert (a replacement was 4 weeks). They promised to get it back asap, but as yet nothing

I`ve just cancelled the realignment I had booked for tomorrow at 9am.

    I`ll be at Billing,but in the Mk5

    I`m now totally pissed off

    Wortech`s report ....

Over 400 bhp, but dont know exactly.
I have the wrong final drive in the diff. Flat out in 6th, it`ll be pushing 190 but not so good for acceleration. The final drive I need is 3.9, the one I`ve got is 3.46
The engine bay is holding too much heat, and the temp sensor is picking that up and cutting back on fuel and power
I need to create more through airflow, make a cold intake into the induction kit and move and heat protect the temp sensor in the induction piping.

well i'll be rolling with 'sir Pete' on sunday early, such sad news though. i'm already looking forward to 2009's show just with a little less rain

Pete have you thought about 'cool louvers' they can stamp out the bonnet to let the heat out or is that not an option?

Yes mate, that is one option.

I`m looking at drillling some large holes in both the metal and plastic scuttle panels at the back on the engine bay below the windscreen. I`ve already removed the rubber seal from there, gives about a 5mm gap right across the bonnet.
