    raspy exhaust

    hello there

i have a mk3 astra gsi redtop and have a piper twin stainless steel backbox on it at the moment and am really disapointed with it coz it sounds like a standard exhaust no noise at so i replaced the cat with a de-cat pipe hopin it would sound loud and deep but instead it sounded terrible no deep note wot so ever just rasp so i put the cat back on it does anybody know how to get that loud deep note without it soundin to raspy? or should i change the exhaust for a powerflow or summin?

    many thanks

Take the central silencer out or have a middle section made up without the silencer and it will be louder and deeper, custom places can make one up for you no prob. A different backbox may help too, depends exactly what you want really but a custom place will be able to sort it out for you

    Welcome to AOC btw
