    Airbag/Tensoner light 03 GSi

My car seems to of found itself an electrical gremlin

Drove to work this morning, everything fine, no warning lights or anything

Way home, airbag light stayed on after i started it, parked at home, left it afew hours, still wont go away

Now the passengers headlight has blown a bulb and the console says "Headlight Taillight"

Please tell me my car isnt about to start breaking?

Im taking it to my mate on thursday morning with a TechII (is that right) reader

The headlight warning light has came on cos youve blown a bulb - common sense really - sorry i cant understand why u even asked this???

as for the airbag light - check the pretensior plugs under the seats are fully locked in position

if ur mate just has a cheapo code reader then he more than likely wont be able to remove the airbag light - good luck tho

Well i dont know why the car is telling me the tail light was blown when ive checked them all and they arent, so im just guessing it assumes its one of the front or back, it cant differentiate?

And my mate works at a garage so, i assume he can

Its just telling you either the headlight or the taillight is out, you just have to check witch one is blown.

As for the airbag light on the dash check the connectors then if no luck take it to a garage as the airbag system wont operate properly.

nowhere on the MFD did it say it is solely the tail light.

It shows the message as "Headlight, Tail Light" telling you theres a shortage of current somewhere in that particular circuit therefore check every relevant bulb (ie tail lights & headlights) for failures
