double din head unit (dvd) recomend

    Hi all,

was my birthday last thurs 21

want to buy a dvd double din head unit for around £300 - £400 (probably without satnav for that price)

    ive found a few:

    JVC KW-AVX810 for £359
    Kenwood DDX-6029 for same price

but im not sure who to go with, kenwood has more pixels per screen, but the JVC is faceoff

does anyone have any players they would like to suggest or anywhere to buy a decent double din player?

    thanks for your time

The JVC may be faceoff but how large is the face panel and would you really want to carry it around?

I'm going to be buying a Alpine IVA W502 soon I think looks good.

Well one thing I will say about double Din touch screen headunits is when there of they look rubbish.
So might not get stolen so easy.

    Suppose your right there.
But then it will get nicked anyway some day when you come home from very long day and forget to take of your face plate

Thats the way it alway happens.

lol sadly your right my friend lol...

well after summing up some options the JVC still comes out on top (for the price range im limited too)

JVC - it has got SD card reader and faceoff (plus all the magic they have as standard)

Kenwood - no SD and no faceoff (better screen pixels (infact brilliant screen))(plus all the magic)

so it seems for me personally its got to be the JVC

Either of the two are quality bits of kit and you cannot go wrong with whichever of the two you choose.
