    Dead vxr turbo

My turbo has just died the normal death (oil seals gone) due to the excessive vauxhall oil pressure
Im thinking now if i should just replace the seals and fit an oil restrictor in the oil line to stop it dying again, or is the regal VXR hybrid turbo any better than the standard vxr unit.

Where did you order the overhaul kit from? Didn't know they existed.

Its a company called turbo active, £72 inc next day postage.
I was at my mates place today who is a honda tuner, after a lot of phone calls and chat we have decided that he will help me develop a tubular manifold and turbo setup for the vaux z20 engines.
The turbo that were thinking of using is a mitsubishi unit and should be capable of around 380 bhp and spool up very early, it also uses an internal wastegate.
All the work will be done on my car so any problems found in the development stage will be posted up and your input will be welcome.
This will not be another over priced branded kit this will be designed by a Z20 owner for other Z20 owners .
