    Thieving *******s

Came home after work tonight to find my dining room windows smash with glass all over the dining room, with a big boulder sitting in the middle of it, the little ****er took my mums laptop, about £100 of change from my desk, all my mums jewlery totalling about £10,000 which most of it isnt replacable, she was given to her as a child from her parents etc. I think they have took a few other things too like cameras and stuff but its hard to know what exactly is missing untill we go to look for it or use it. Police and CSI arrived within 30 minutes which was pretty good, no finger prints left just a shoe print on the dining room floor. Neigbours got a good look at him as he tried to sell them some ciggarets (they didnt know he had robbed our house at this time).

Im feeling really weird right now, was shaking when i was first came in, felt really strange, im sitting here now and dont know what to do with myself, even though i didnt really loose anything it just feels weird knowing we were robbed.

The laptop my mum stole was also faulty, so im hoping they are stupid enough to leave it into a local place for repair, luckily i work for the company that does about 90% of laptop repairs for northern ireland and do work for all the local companies so ill be giving them a phone in the morning to keep an eye out.

    Sorry, just had to rant.

that is awful, have a huge virtual *HUG*, your mum must be devastated. Make sure someone stays with her at the house if you can so she's not on her own as having your house violated can cause mental stress and anxiety, although this may not sink in immediately.

That's terrible, especially when you cant replace some of the things that were taken, i'd rather give stuff away than have it stolen, hope they get caught.

I've got robbed once too.. I didn't miss any things I lost as I could buy new ones from my insurance.

But the worst thing that you think that a stranger was in your house touching your things. I couldn't stop thinking about it. The house feels like "dirty" or "contaminated".. it's hard to explain but it doesn't feel like your home for some time. It took me 2 weeks at least to go back to normal.
