Question Astra G estate camber angle.

Hi I have just put new struts on my astra estate 99v 1.8.
the haynes book says mark old strut to maintain camber angle with the hub carrier,(no good if you are putting new ones on) so I just went ahead and put the new ones on anyway.Question is, does it need checking and how is it adjusted? there is a small amount of movement in the bolts at the bottom of the strut, and the top is fixed in the centre anyway, front right tyre is getting quite warm, I will be getting the tracking done soon , any help please.

I would imagine it would be adjusted by loosening the 2 bolts holding the strut to the hub carrier, moving the hub carrier to create the appropriate camber and then tightening the two bolts again to hold it in positon. Maybe you could get it done at the same time you get the tracking done unless you want to do it yourself?

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am

Have been told by a couple of garages the angle is not adjustable, so I just got the tracking done, will keep an eye on tyres.
