They say "Now road safety groups are calling for a blanket ban on phone calls at the wheel"
i doubt that they will be able to enforce this. As said above, with built in functions, you can't get done for talking to yourself can you?

That's ludacris. He was driving without due care and attention, that's all. Would there be this much of an uproar if the person he was engrossed in coversation with was sat in the seat next to him??? I think not.

If they do this they must ban all conversation in a car be it on the phone or with the person on the other seat, along with banning all music and radio.

It is an offence to talk on a hands free kit now if your driving is impared or it's deemed dangerous to do so.
Tell me what you've done, not what you're going to!

What about talking to passengers or are they gonna ban that too.

Seriously, they might as well just ban driving altogether

Not going to ban talking to passengers.

There just going to ban passengers in your car all together.
If they see passengers in your car your going to get a fine.
Even if your not using them.
