    Windscreen washers packed up

Front and rears have packed up, it's not run out of juice and the motors are happily whirring away. What's it likely to be? Im kinda ruling out blockages, could a pipe have come off at the pump? And on that note - where is it?

    Cheers,
    Tom

Had this problem in one of my old cars, the filter had blocked up completely, might be worth checking.

If it is, unblock it, then get a 3 litre coke bottle, fill it with water and sqwoosh it all through the water bottle to shift all the crap leaving the motor unplugged so it can flush straight out, put the motor back, fill the bottle then try again.

what screen wash are you using as some kinds will block up the motor's Filter
what I would do is put a hose pipe in the washer bottle with hot water in the hose an Wash out the washer bottle for a few mins

Yeah, the cleaning out of the bottle is important, when i did it i just cleaned the filter first time, within a day it had clogged up again.

After cleaning out the bottle it worked a treat after that.

I know this sounds daft, but do they work then the bonnet is open?

I had this problem on my corsa, basically when I shut the bonnet, the pipe kinked and blocked the water.

No need to remove the bumper, jack up the n/s/f, turn the wheel to the left, loosen off the inner arch trim at the front and pull away and there be the washer bottle/motor, pull the motor out and it will leave the black rubber filter/seal in the bottle, pop this out and be prepared for the contents to gush out all over your arm if your not quick enough to move you'll find the filter will be clogged with gooey muck, clean it and flush the bottle through, put back together. Not a long job at all.
