    Air Con Horrible Smell

    Hey there

    I dont no if this is a common or werid problem but ive had my coupe about 2 weeks now and I am loving it just the only floor I have is when i turn on the heaters/vents If i DONT use the AC button its really really stinks almost like sick really isnt nice, if on other hand i put the AC on its smells for a few secs the disappears and is fine, had a few passangers in car and yea I am definetly not the only one noticing it just wondered if anyone had any ideas what it could be???

    i get that, only its more of a musty/damp smell, iv changed the polon filter and it hasn't got much better (if atall)

    Can't you use that air con system cleaner thing. Turn the blowers on full and let it do its thing. Kills all the bacteria in the system

    did no u could get a aircon cleaner thing lol Ill hav to have a look online see if i can get one cheers for that :P ill let u no results

    it smells cos it hasnt been used and damp has cause bacteria to grow in the pipes. needs to be used for a while to get rid of smell.

    make sure you use it atleast 15 mins a week

    get it in halfords mate, about 5 quid i think

    ye my mate does aircon never use it for short periods and the smell is as mentioned bacteria you can get the stuff from halfords but it not as good as a proper aircon place

    Ok many thanx ill keep using it and get a kit from halfords i think man it does smell nasty though lol
