I`ve got Toyo Proxes, 245 x 35 18s up front and 265 x 40 18s at the rear.
What tyre pressure should they be ?
Baring in mind, it`s now RWD
Don't the pressures depend on the weight of the car not the tyre size?
Doesn't it say in the manual ??? WELL DONE !!!!!!
Did you write a manual for it aswell Pete!!!!
When i got my tyre's fitted on my coupe on the chart it was 38psi front and 36psi rear, the tubby cab is nearer your weight your prob just 2 or 3 psi more than the cab tubby i would say
Low to mid 30's i imagine pete tbh. Would run them slighly flat at the rear if it was me personally
I honestly cant remember
The steering was really heavy at parking speed (no power steering) so, this afternoon, me and Scottydog, stripped down both front struts, greased the roller bearings, put it all back and tightened everything up.
Because it was at waist level the tyres looked a bit soft, on checking we found all 4 were 22psi ..... no wonder it was bloody heavy
We inflated them to 30 at the rear and 33 up front, it`s now a lot easier, but I need to get the pressures right, to avoid excessive wear
