    newbies slagging off...

what is it, time of the month or something, in quite a few threads ive read tonight, there are newly registered people just slagging off cars with comments like...rubbish..crap, WTF is that piece os sh!te, etc, modifying is what this its all about, not everyone got the same taste, would be boring if they did.

People need to grow up and learn some respect........

Makes my blood boil, manners and respect cost nothing.

yeah there are ways and ways of voicing an opinion, its perfectly possible to get your opinion across, even if it is negative, without being a d*ck about it.

i haven't been on for a while and haven't seen any of this but would presume they arn't used to the nature of AOC, alot of other sites its the norm to make bad comments at cars

I know exactly what you mean Jamie, does seem to be the season for it. I have nothing against constuctive criticism, but just calling someone's recently modded pride and joy "shit" isn't particularly constructive.

Polite & courteous behaviour seems to be a dying art

I was thinking the same thing as i looked at two threads before and the same "newbie" had written bad comments, I think something needs to be done about it IMO

I've always been taught that if I have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all.

If I do end up commenting on something i dont like i'll always try to pick something out about the car that I like first

It doesnt matter where on the internet you go, you will always find people like this, Was the same 10 yrs ago when I was a chat mod, and it will be the same 10 yrs from now.

You can either ignore them and hope they go away, or watch themselves dig a hole so deep they get their accounts pulled. Either way, they will eventually disappear... only to be replaced by another. Such is life
